“Whole rows of families left the camp in wagons. If it was a big village, there were more or less wagons. It happened at night. They were allowed to take a package of varying size. They could stay two weeks in the camp, until being selected.”

GK 163/19, p. 1339, 1348: “Several times, bodies were thrown in this mass grave. They were not buried. The bodies stayed that way for a few days or weeks and when the grave was full, the Gestapo brought other Jews to fill in the grave with rocks and soil.”
